I tried to lose fat and tone up for over a decade without results. During this time, I did so many things the wrong way. I was overtraining and under-eating because I thought that was the way to my dream body, but instead of getting fit, I stayed puffy, bloated, soft, and wrecked my health. For years, I thought I just had stubborn fat. On top of that, I had the weirdest symptoms: random food reactions, stomach cramps, flushing, eczema, and a body composition that wouldn't change no matter what I did. In this video, I discuss one of the rarely covered but often occurring health complications called histamine intolerance. And especially it occurs in women and girls who tend to train hard and diet. I thought it was a food intolerance or a food allergy. It felt like my body reacted to everything and nothing. Every time different things triggered my symptoms, I thought I had gluten intolerance, lactose intolerance, or other food intolerance, but it wasn't. It was something much more complicated, a histamine intolerance. And what I didn't know at all is that the healthiest foods I ate made it even worse. Healthy foods like avocado, spinach, kombucha, sauerkraut, fermented foods, and more were actually making my symptoms worse.
