IDC funds Northern Cape minerals drive
The Northern Cape's mining future lies in rare earths minerals, with projections that a century's worth of deposits are buried in the Namaqualand. President Cyril Ramaphosa announced during his State of the Nation Address that the Industrial Development Corporation announced more than R300 million in funding for the Frontier Rare Earths Project in the Northern Cape.
