If Terminator 3 marked the beginning of the decline of the Austrian cyborg assassin saga, the fourth installment almost changed that thanks to its original premise and its intention to tell new stories. However, although the producers had good ideas, they failed to capitalize on them, delivering a final product with potential that, unfortunately, left much to be desired.
