As I wandered through the Stampede, one experience stood out above all the rest. I stepped onto the towering Ferris wheel, camera in hand, hoping to capture something special. As the ride slowly climbed higher, the entire Stampede came to life beneath me. Thousands of people filled the fairgrounds, the midway stretched in every direction, and beyond it all, Calgary's stunning skyline rose against the summer sky.
