But what about connecting them in series? If you turn on a single DC light with a voltage exceeding its maximum voltage, the light will break. For example, if a 5V DC light is connected to a 12V battery, it will break immediately. Or if a 12V motorcycle light is connected to a 19.5V laptop adapter, the light will also break. To avoid breaking, you can connect two lights in series.
