From designer John D Clair, players get to control iconic characters from the series and "burn" metals to unlock Allomantic powers in fast-paced battles. Mistborn is a standalone deck-building game in which you “purchase” cards as you play to build and improve your deck. "Burn" metals to activate cards. Each metal has its own strengths: damaging opponents, earning mission points, and manipulating allies. There are multiple ways to win! For one reason or another these are just shy of perfect. Whether it's mechanics, length, brain burn whatever. 4.0 - This is where a game becomes recommended. Now I may or may not be in the mood, or even own it, especially considering other games. But a 4 is where we cross from good to great.3.5 - Really enjoyed, don't love it, will often lose out to better games, but there's a part of me that wants to own it/play it more. 3.0 - A good game, I enjoy playing it. But also if I never play it again I'm not losing any sleep over that. 2.5 - Wasn't the biggest fan. Wasn't the worst, but didn't feel like the best use of time. Would prefer not to play again but am willing to given the right circumstances. 2.0 - A game I don't want to play again. I'm not saying it isn't good, I'm saying I don't want to play it again regardless of circumstance. 1.5 - I did not like this game, do not want to play it, and think it's a fairly flawed game. 1.0 - I can't imagine rating a game this poorly ever. It would take something so abysmal I probably didn't get to even play it.
