Live this Day with Love | Song by Plum Village sisters
"It's going to change tomorrow Because I vow to live this day with love." This song is written by a young mindfulness practitioner in the Plum Village tradition of zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, and performed by several monastic sisters. It begins in a dangerous and seemingly helpless situation. "There's a time When I wish to do something more But I'm all alone I cannot be strong." In the chorus, the author stops in the midst of her fear and loneliness to be in touch with the beautiful things still present in her life. "It's time to stop It's time to breathe It's time to take care of ourself It's not our fault To take a walk In peace and harmony." Ultimately, she expresses the insight that guides her through the dark night toward the coming dawn. "How can I heal a wounded heart If I only see the dark?" It’s going to change tomorrow because I vow to live this day with love.” For the full dharma talk, "Finding Compassion and Freedom within Loss and Anger" by Sister Từ Nghiêm, go to • Finding Compassion and Freedom Within Loss... . The intro to the song begins at 55:31, and the song itself at 58:24. Help us caption & translate this video! https://amara.org/v/C2OXX/
