Nellie came into our lives at 5 years old after being passed around to 3 other families. The third one finally gave her a name, the first she had ever had. She was mistreated by the first family, neglected by the second and finally loved by the third but couldn’t keep her. My husband brought her home and she made herself at home in my arms party quickly. I didn’t want her but I fell In love with her. We only got to have her for 6 years and it wasn’t enough time.
