Muscle car in Blender - Retro 3D style (PS1 game inspired)
In this project I was inspired by Vigilante 8, the first video-game I saw on PlayStation 1 in far 1999. In my opinion, this one is the best game in its genre. I have long wanted to model a car in low poly style and my choice fell on Plymouth Barracuda 1971. I wanted to make it in PS1 style, but as usual it came out more detailed and realistic. Only when I finished everything, I understand what could be simplified and what not to do at all. I painted the texture in photoshop using layers. This made it easier to create different color variations of the car. And I really liked this method. What about animation… it was very hard for me. Somewhere I understood how it works, but some things I did as if blindly and just hoped for luck, randomly moving points on the timeline. Hope I was able to entertain you a little.
