We visited two long-established ramen shops representing Tokushima, as requested by our viewers. The first is Chuka Soba Ohsho in Yoshinogawa City. Their signature dish, the Chashu Ramen, is characterized by its thick slices of meat that fill the bowl. We savored the rich pork bone and soy sauce broth, which has been preserved for many years, and the overwhelming volume of meat. The second is Chuka Soba Koken, located very close to Ohsho. This is a famous shop that has been around since the Showa era, and this time we added chashu and garlic to their Chuka Soba. The deep, rich brown broth, infused with chopped garlic, creates an addictive bowl that is unique to this long-established shop.
