"Tangerine" played by Jimmy Dorsey, with his orchestra and regular vocalists Bob Eberle and Helen O'Connell from the 1942 Paramount film "The Fleet's In". Tangerine was one of two hit songs from the film (the other being "I Remember You") and became a popular standard. The music is by the movie's director Victor Schertzinger and Johnny Mercer and the song has been covered many times, by artists including Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Harry Connick Jr, Oscar Peterson, Tony Bennett, Chet Baker and Dr. John.
