Kicking Off #JunkyJune – From Packaging to Vintage Folio

Hi guys, Welcome to #Junkyjune , throughout June we're challenging ourselves to use at least one piece of "junk" in every project. That could be packaging, junk mail, paper bags, cardboard, envelopes, wrapping paper, or anything else that would normally end up in the recycling bin. And the best part? Everyone can join in! Simply create something using recycled materials and share it on social media using the hashtag #JunkyJune so we can all see each other's creations and inspire one another. For today's project I gathered a few everyday materials that most people would throw away: an old paper bag, some brown wrapping paper, and a piece of cardboard from a packaging box. With just a little stamping, some lace, and a vintage three-panel design made from old book pages, those humble scraps became a beautiful vintage folio. This project is a perfect example of what #JunkyJune is all about: looking at ordinary materials with fresh eyes and turning them into something creative and beautiful.
