Forest Bathing - How To Find Slow Moments of Calm in a Busy Life
Forest Bathing is a concept that originated in Japan in the 1980's, called Shinrin Yoku in Japanese. It has become a vital part of slow living for me, going out into the woods and finding moments of calm and relaxation after a busy day or week. Now that the days are getting longer and there is more sunlight in the evenings, it's become easier to find time to go outside. The woods are bursting green and purple with leaves and flowers. It's a wonderful place to find yourself in and heal from worries and anxieties.
