On the other hand, Maki Zenin represents the complete opposite. She went through the same pain, the same contempt, the same rejection, but made a different decision. Instead of running away, she stayed. Instead of hiding, she faced it. Maki chose to evolve, overcome her limits, and transform her pain into strength. This is the big difference between the two: while Toji gave up on himself, Maki decided to build herself up. And that's exactly where the video's lesson comes in.
