Hello everyone! In this video, we show you our impressions of Nysted Strand Camping on the island of Lolland. As the third-largest Danish island, Lolland is part of the so-called "Danish South Sea." Nysted is located in the south of the Danish island of Lolland and roughly halfway between the two ferry ports in Gedser and Rødby. The pitches are divided into different areas. For example, there is a larger meadow in the rear area as "green pitches," as well as pitches that are more centrally located near the washroom, and some with a view of the bay or the nearby castle. The electricity poles are equipped with CEE connections. There are also water taps everywhere. There is a central building directly at the entrance to the campsite where the reception is located. There is also a bread delivery service, ice cream, groceries, and drinks, etc.! The washrooms/service buildings (there are several smaller buildings) are also centrally located. It's about 800 meters to the town or harbor via a beautifully landscaped path along the water. Adjacent to the town (which is truly worth seeing) is a castle with a castle park (which is freely accessible almost everywhere), as well as a bird sanctuary, etc.! An ideal starting point for exploring Lolland, whether on foot or by bike.
