HAIR PREP: I start out with freshly washed, blow-dried and moisturized hair. If you would like to see those routines in detail, let me know in the comments :). Then, lightly moisturize and oil my scalp - I have a condition known as scalp psoriasis, as well as a nut allergy, so I'm very careful about what products I put on my scalp which usually results in me making certain hair/skin products myself. I then show how I cut, separate, and stretch the cuban twist hair - I cut each loc in half and separate each half twice = 4 pieces of hair from each half, or 8 total pieces of hair from a full single loc of cuban twist hair. TECHNIQUES USED: I discuss my parting method, including a brief explanation of the BRICK-LAYERING METHOD.
