We enjoyed the festival from the visit to Akiba Shrine, which we could not visit in the previous year due to lack of time. In the Meiji period (1868-1912), the festival was held as the “Oyama Festival” with a huge float (15 meters above the ground) parading through the streets. The Esashi Jinku Parade is a Guinness World Record for the largest number of participants in a fan dance, lasting more than one hour. I regretted taking pictures on a stepladder this time, as it was too hard. Let's sit down and watch it slowly.
