Mc 14, 12-16. 22-26 “Tomen: esto es mi cuerpo”

On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover lamb was sacrificed, Jesus' disciples asked, "Where do you want us to go and prepare for you to eat the Passover?" He told two of them, "Go into the city. You will find a man carrying a jar of water. Follow him and tell the owner of the house he enters, 'The Teacher sends a message: Where is the guest room where I am to eat the Passover with my disciples?' He will show you a room upstairs furnished with couches. Prepare us there." The disciples left, arrived in the city, found what Jesus had told them, and prepared the Passover meal. While they were eating, Jesus took a loaf of bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take it; this is my body." And taking a cup of wine, he gave thanks, gave it to them, and they all drank. He said to them, "This is my blood, the blood of the covenant, which is poured out for all. Truly, I say to you, I will not drink from the fruit of the vine again until the day I drink it new in the Kingdom of God." After singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
