On these visits, the Old Field & Grant Barriers still remain here as of May 2026. This crossing is controlled from its Signal Box as seen in the video. The location here has no alarms or bells. A renewal is due here sometime, including with alarms but there is no exact date(s) of when this is happening yet. During the visit of 22/05/2026, in this video, we see several trains passing here at speed going from / towards Weston-super-Mare. At one point, the signaller got confused with a train coming from Weston-super-Mare because the train was being delayed and got halted at a red signal just outside the platform at Worle station. (It is mentioned in the video). This caused 2 Closures with no trains passing at all. You could also say that there have been 2 Cancelled Closures here. Some new barrier skirts have been installed on the barriers since. Hope you enjoy the videos! Thanks for Watching!
