Found Behind My Swedish House: Unearthing a Relic

Summer has arrived at my cottage in Sweden, which means I am overdue to start on some garden projects! But a quick trip to the store turns into an unexpected adventure when the lights suddenly go out. Between navigating back-to-back hardware stores trying to find basic equipment that is of good quality, and hunting down sold-out raised beds, shopping in town turned out to be a bit of a frustrating test of patience. But the real surprise happened right in our own backyard: Vicky noticed something strange over the fence in the forest. When we went to investigate, we uncovered a heavy piece of history hidden in the moss and overgrown bushes—something that belonged to this house decades ago. Stick around until the end for a quiet, peaceful summer walk in the midnight sun through the Swedish woods right behind my house.
