Nadia and I wake up at 7:00 AM. We get dressed and head to Naples to climb the volcano. It's about an hour and a half's drive from our campsite (Salerno). Luckily, we manage to arrive on time. Our entrance tickets are for 9:20 AM. We bought them two days in advance on the Vesuvio National Park website. We pay 28.20 PLN for parking and head to the bus. We buy tickets for 4 euros (2 euros per person) and drive 3 km to the trailhead. The men scan our tickets, and we're on the trail in no time. We reach the summit of the volcano in less than 30 minutes. Along the way, we admire the views and the panorama of Naples. At the top of Vesuvius, there are three places to buy souvenirs and eat. Nadia and I order cappuccinos and Pingells chips. It's very windy that day, making it difficult to record a vlog. Therefore, we apologize in advance for the noise in the audio. We spend about 1.5 hours on the volcano and then return to the parking lot. We use the same ticket we used to go up. We board the bus and head to the beautiful Naples Railway Museum.
