When I couldn't reach the plateau I had planned to visit during my trip to Tunceli, one of the most challenging and adventurous journeys of my life began! The villages I visited were completely empty. So I changed my plan and decided to walk towards another village on the Pertek side. For 4.5 hours I hitchhiked on deserted roads, but unfortunately not a single vehicle stopped. Before dark and before I got stranded, I had to make a decision: I changed my route to Elazığ! I walked for miles to reach the Pertek Ferry and continued my journey by ferry.
