There's a lot to learn from Rousseau's performance here regarding piano technique, phrasing, rhythm, and much more. Einaudi's piano music is very different from many classical composers like Beethoven and Mozart, and has it's own emotional qualities and special challenges when it comes to learning and playing the piece. As I mention in the video, none of the criticisms here are in any way meant to disparage Rousseau's skills. Rather, it's just an opportunity for us to listen critically and grow as musicians and pianists!
