The Way of Faith - Day One - Águas da Prata x Serra dos Lima The saga has begun! First ride on the Way of Faith, from Águas da Prata to Serra dos Lima… and we already understand why they call this a spiritual experience. Two words: insane climbs. The famous climb of the Stone Bridge, before Pico do Gavião and then the dreaded Serra dos Lima… it takes leg strength, faith, and internal dialogue to avoid getting off the bike 😂 But look… every drop of sweat is worth it. Simply absurdly beautiful landscapes, endless hills, a rural atmosphere, and several chapels along the way — and of course, a stamp in your passport, which you can get in Águas da Prata for R$35. And one detail that made all the difference: there's a lot of shade in this section! About 70% of the route is protected, which helps (a little) to survive the climbs.
