ALICANTE y VILLAJOYOSA 🇪🇸 | La escapada perfecta entre historia y mar

Alicante was another city that piqued our curiosity on this trip through Spain, and although we only spent a day and a half there, it ended up giving us much more than we expected. We strolled along the Explanada de España, discovered the city's history through a free walking tour of the old town, visited the impressive Santa Bárbara Castle, and wandered through the colorful corners of the Santa Cruz neighborhood. But the biggest surprise came the next day. Following our guide's recommendation, we changed our original plans and took the tram to Villajoyosa, a charming seaside town with colorful facades that turned out to be one of the most special discoveries of the entire trip.
