Cheap 5 Star Hotel in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt

(LATE UPLOAD) I have vlogged late! I was not feeling of vlogging for the first days here, to be honest. Anyways, we are staying at Parrotel Beach Resort here in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. It is our first time in Egypt, and this is my 28th country! 📍 EGYPT 🇪🇬 - One of the open countries for tourists After spending 3 weeks in Turkey, I am spending 2 weeks in somewhere sunny. Warm, but not as warm as Philippines. If we think about Egypt, we first think about the Pyramids, Sphinx, Nile River and all those stuff thought to us in history classes. But in the south Sinai Peninsula, near to Jordan and Israel, there is a place called Sharm el-Sheikh. This place is full of luxury resorts. From Bed & Breakfast to All-Inclusive Stay! My jowa and I are staying here for 9 days. We were here since the 23rd of January and we will be flying to Cairo on the 31st. ✈️ FLIGHT Istanbul to Sharm el-Sheikh: Pegasus Airlines for €60 with 20kg baggage. 🏩 HOTEL Parrotel Beach Resort: €32 or less than Php 2,000/night for 2 persons. Breakfast Included. 🚕 GOING AROUND Private Transfer, Taxi or Public Mini Vans FAQs: • Do Philippine passport holders need a visa going to Egypt? YES! It is easy and cheap to get one. Just e-mail [email protected] then they'll send you the requirements. They'll ask you to scan your documents and e-mail the scanned docs to them for initial review before you can proceed in going to the Egypt Embassy in Makati. • What are the visa requirements? 1. Visa application form (duly filled) 2. 2x2 size recent colored picture (white background) 2 pieces 3. Valid Passport (more than six months valid) 4. Bank Certificate / Bank Statement 5. Employment Certificate with compensation / Business Registration 6. Letter of Intent (duly signed by the applicant) 7. Tour Program Itinerary • How much is the visa fee? As of 14th of December 2020 the visa fee for the Egypt visa is Php 1,700. YOU DO NOT PAY THE VISA FEE UNTIL YOU ARE APPROVED • How long is the visa validity: They usually give a single 30-day entry valid for 6 months. If you need a multiple entry, you have to make sure that your reason is valid. • Do I need a plane and hotel reservation to apply for a visa? NO. • Where is the Egypt Embassy located & what time are they open? They are located in Makati (just google it). They accept applications from Monday to Wednesday only --- 9:00 to 12:00. • Do I need a RT-PCR test? YES. 72 hours before arrival. • Am I required to go on quarantine when I arrive to Egypt? NO. No quarantine needed. • You will not see this problem on Google often but there are some nationalities (Philippines included) who need to register in a Police or Visa Immigration office after arriving. They will stamp our passport but they will put another stamp that says "Registration within 7 days". In our case, if we are staying for more than 7 days, we need to register our visa to the nearest Immigration office. Failure to do so will require us to pay a fine upon leaving Egypt. The hotel you are staying might be able to help you with this, but if not... All you need is to go to the nearest Visa Immigration Office then get a registration card (fill it up), give the card and your passport to the officer, they'll log your details and stamp your visa with a triangular stamp, then you are good to go. ----TALK ABOUT HASSLE!!!
