Demo : High Throughput PET Bottle Sorting on Pellenc ST Mistral+

In this video, our Mistral+ optical sorter processes PET bottles, in order to obtain the best purity level at a very high speed. The Mistral+ is a multi-material sorting machine for sorting and recycling facilities. Thanks to our Disc Spreader, plastic bottles are equally displayed on the conveying belt. The machine is programmed to eject clear and light blue PET. After looking at the first step sorting result, we decide to purify clear PET, by ejecting contaminants and color PET. The last step consists in color purification, which eliminates from the input flux all materials which are not clear PET. This process shows the different sorting options our Mistral+ can execute : sorting by colour, or by material, with high purity levels.
