TASKS FOR THE MILITARY The development of the Belarusian army is the President's focus. Aleksandr Lukashenko heard a military report. It concerns proposals for adjusting the plan for the construction and development of the Armed Forces until 2030. The document outlines the army's missions in peacetime and wartime. The President also commented on the attack on a bus carrying Belarusian citizens including children in Bryansk Oblast. OPEN DIALOGUE Belarus is ready to conduct a dialogue with both the Americans and the Europeans. Aleksandr Lukashenko stated this in an interview with Al-Arabiya TV channel. Minsk does not reject US assistance in building normal interaction with European countries. At the same time, it does not hide the fact that there is a fairly intensive non-public dialogue with Western colleagues. ALLIED POLICY Upcoming talks between the leaders of Belarus and Russia, the union agenda and the international situation. This was discussed at the meeting between President of Belarus and Russian Foreign Minister. Sergey Lavrov came to Minsk on a working visit. The key topics are the global situation and coordination of joint actions in the field of foreign policy. INVESTMENT IN BUSINESS Belarus and Uzbekistan intend to reach the trade turnover level of $2 billion dollars in the coming years. Focus is on the growth of mutual investments. This was stated by Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin, speaking at the plenary meeting of the International Investment Forum in Tashkent. MODERN PUBLIC TRANSPORT Belarus's leading electric transport manufacturer is expanding its international cooperation. A batch of new Belkommunmash trams has entered service in Pavlodar, Kazakhstan. Assembly kits for three-section trams are also being supplied to Russia's Nizhny Novgorod Oblast. Minsk-based company also won a tender to supply autonomous trolleybuses to Yaroslavl. Plans for cooperation with two more cities in Tatarstan are also underway. SECURITY TECHNOLOGIES The 3rd International Security Industry Exhibition "National Security – Belarus 2026" was held in Minsk. Visitors were shown modern equipment and weapons, achievements in national security, and the latest developments from defense industry companies.
