My D150 Finally Passed Inspection! (Big Milestone) : Episode 16

The 1992 Dodge D150 project reaches a major milestone! In this episode, we tackle the final repairs needed to get the "Big Pig" road-legal, including a full leaf spring installation and a DIY front-end alignment. It’s been a long journey on the lift, but we’re finally wrapping up the suspension work, repacking bearings, and even getting some new tires mounted and balanced (the old-school way). Plus, I head to the 3D printer to create a custom "Flying Pig" hood ornament to give the truck some personality before the big inspection day. In this video: Suspension & Alignment: Installing the new rear leaf spring, torquing U-bolts, and performing a DIY alignment using angle iron and a laser. Tire Shop at Home: Mounting and balancing new tires using old style tire changer and a custom laser-balancing rig. Mechanical Fixes: Troubleshooting a wonky temperature gauge, fixing a sagging door hinge, and performing driveshaft maintenance. 3D Printing: Designing and printing a custom "Flying Pig" emblem for the D150. The Moment of Truth: Taking the truck for a test drive and heading to the shop for the official inspection. Will the D150 finally get its plates? Stick around to find out!
