Asha 4 Asha Tribute to JJ Tribute- Ambient Version (A Short Film) 2023

This is something i’ve been cautiously working on for sometime now. Cautious because it’s a new version of my 'unplugged' remix of Asha’s JJ Tribute which has statistically become my most popular track and video with it having over a million plays on Youtube and FB, and i've had the great honour of it being played at weddings and funerals and everything in-between and so i didn't want to mess up it's legacy with a half hearted new version. I wondered if i could do a new version that takes what i believe to be the elements that made people connect so much to my previous version and try and push those elements even further, and so this version is even more stripped back and the video has a much broader scope and doesn’t just focus on the rave scene of Blackpool and now features footage from raves all across the UK as well other miscellaneous archive footage. Whilst making the video it became apparent that i was actually making something that resembled a short film, hence the title. I screenshotted some FB comments from the last video and used them in this one (with names erased) so keep a look out and you might see your comment. Anyway i hope you like it.
