We've wanted to come here for a long time, but since we don't hike or trek and don't work out often, we've changed our minds. This year, we decided to just do it because the world has just opened and there is no better time than now. The day before we left for Nepal, we weren't sure we could do it and thought about canceling, luckily we managed to persuade ourselves to go ahead, and here we are, after trekking for eight days in a row for 8 to 10 hours each day, enduring high altitude sickness, cold weather, and a lack of oxygen, we finally made it to the Everest Base Camp! We realized that what got us to the base camp wasn't physical. We don't trek or hike much in Singapore, so that wasn't a factor at all.
