EPIC SERVICE FAIL! - 1970 Fender Silverface Super Reverb Repair Gone Wrong
Here's a repair that goes totally tits up at the end. We change all the caps, screen resistors, clean everything, etc., only to face an insurmountable roadblock at the end. Needless to say, there is no tone demo at the end of this one. Interestingly, this example came to me with 7581 power tubes, which are an industrial version of the 6L6GC.
