Ohangla musician Abenny Jachiga buried at night after Friday protests

Popular Ohangla musician Abenny Jachiga was finally laid to rest during the wee hours of the night, despite attempts by villagers and fans to stop the burial. The ceremony was conducted at 2 AM under tight police security, with only a brother in attendance. Family members had a difficult time today, as angry mourners threatened to exhume the body to protest what they termed as violation of their culture. However, swift intervention by elders saved the day.
