Prof. Jorge Hidalgo, MD, MACP, MCCM, FCCP Professor of Critical Care Medicine he is a Secretary-General of the World Federation of Intensive and Critical Care Medicine He is also the head of the intensive care Unit and COVID-19 Unit Belize Health Care Partner Limited Belize Prof. Hidalgo is a member of the SCCM Fundamental Critical Care Obstetrics he is an author of many Chapter on Critical Care Obstetrics and editor of Obstetric Catastrophes among other Books. In this lecture, he spoke about thromboembolic diseases during pregnancy including symptoms, signs, manifestations, and required investigations. In full details, he spoke about the challenges for treatment during pregnancy and difficulties with operative procedures from an anaesthetic point of view. This lecture was given in the Mega Online Anaesthesiology Course, in the presence of Prof. Jehan Elkholy, chairing the session.
