Our Biman Bangladesh domestic flight to Dhaka nearly got delayed again, and on top of that, it was village election day, so the whole area was tense and busy. We left the bari around 6pm, which felt strange because we usually leave after Fajr. The extra time with family was emotional — the dinner table and lunch table were so quiet, everyone feeling that heaviness of goodbye. After reaching Dhaka, we spent some time at the Dhaka Airport Lounge, trying to relax before our long journey ahead with Saudi Airlines.
