TOUCHDOWN NYC! Great Start with My AMG GT Black Series

Touchdown NEW YORK! It's time for my United States GT Black Series tour, kicking off in none other than the concrete jungle. For the very first time I'm driving a car on a 3rd continent, and where better than to get lost in the streets of Manhattan; chasing the sights of Times Square! The first time I sent a car to another continent was when I brought my Ford GT to the USA about 3 years ago, a trip that started right here in New York. Earlier this year, when taking my GT500 on Gumball 3000 I kicked off the adventure also from New York as a link back to my very first ever time on the rally in 2012 when the start grid was in Times Square also. To make it a hat-trick, we're straight on the road, or rather through the Lincoln Tunnel, into the city to go cause some chaos. The AMG GT Black Series is absolutely the perfect car for an adventure like this; very personal to me having been connected to the car from the start with the launch video, respraying mine to Solarbeam, the Opus upgrades, driving it around Europe, taking it to the Middle-East, pushing hard at tracks like Yas Marina and the Nurburgring, and let's not forget it's also pretty reliable and sturdy for thousands upon thousands of miles ahead. But here we are, the city backdrop behind when viewed from New Jersey, but ready to go straight over to Manhattan to go have some fun!
