कोकणातील खेड आणि महाबळेश्वरला जोडणारा भव्य केबल-स्टेड स्काय ब्रिज आता पूर्णत्वाच्या उंबरठ्यावर असून पावसाळ्यानंतर तो वाहतुकीसाठी खुला होण्याची शक्यता आहे. कोयना बॅकवॉटरवर सुमारे १७५ कोटी रुपये खर्चून उभारण्यात आलेला हा पूल सुरू झाल्यानंतर खेड ते महाबळेश्वरमधील अंतर तब्बल ५० किलोमीटरने कमी होणार आहे. A massive cable-stayed sky bridge connecting Khed in Konkan with Mahabaleshwar is nearing completion and is expected to open after the monsoon. Built at a cost of around ₹175 crore over the Koyna backwaters, the bridge will reduce travel distance by nearly 50 km.The project is set to improve connectivity, boost tourism, and provide year-round road access to 21 remote villages in the region.
