Appreciators and enthusiasts of the "Overland" culture (the ability to travel by land with self-sufficiency), we are increasingly equipping ourselves to not depend on external means in our adventures and to use only our own resources. We started traveling in 2016, the year we met, with a Renault Sandero and in a conventional way, booking accommodations through websites/apps like Booking and Airbnb. However, over time, we realized that our focus was actually elsewhere. We needed to evolve. Through other travelers, we learned about rooftop tents. We immediately fell in love with them, knowing that in a few minutes we could park the car anywhere safe and spend the night, without depending on hotel and inn reservations during our trips. After much research and consultation with manufacturers, we opted for the company Blue Camping, located in Blumenau/SC. It was the right choice. Initially, we installed it on the roof of our Sandero, but again, we felt the need to upgrade to have more autonomy on our trips.
