Lancashire Sparks is a creative partnership project between Lancashire County Council's Heritage Learning Lancashire, About Time Dance Company and Blackburn Museum, funded through the Museums and Schools programme via Arts Council England. This Primary school project concentrates on Lancashire's rich clog dancing tradition and further explores the County’s cultural heritage, with music, story and poetry. The project also includes the legacy of class-sets of hand-made clogs, which can be loaned to schools, complementing creative classroom-based history, dance and music lessons. For more information about the clog loans boxes please contact [email protected] Special thanks to Jenny Reeves, Alex Fisher and Grace Smith. Music: Waddington's, Harvest Home. Both Traditional - Performed and Arranged by Grace Smith. Recorded at Helmshore Mills Textile Museum by Huckleberry Films.
