Dragon Chilling Crowned Double Champions!!

Featured is a sharp chess game between Hans Niemann and Ding Liren from the Finals of the 2026 FIDE World Team Blitz Chess Championship, held in Hong Kong. Arising out of an Italian Game, we observe a minor piece imbalance after 12 moves. Ding manages to coordinate beautifully with his unopposed dark-squared bishop, causing Niemann an inconvenience. Team Dragon Chilling won both finals matches in crushing fashion by scores of 5:1 and 5:1, and were ultimately crowned double champions. #DingLiren #DragonChilling Image of Ding Liren by Lennart Ootes lennartootes.com I'm a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8.
