A Hidden Home Where Architecture and Nature Become One
#foresthouse #woodenhouse #interiordesign #housedesign #architecture A Hidden Home Where Architecture and Nature Become One Designed by Studio GAB on a forested site beside Poland’s national park landscape, Residence on the Edge of National Forest is a 250-square-meter home that carefully integrates architecture with nature. The house is composed of three overlapping volumes that follow the shape of the site while preserving existing trees, creating a strong connection to the surrounding woodland. Organized around a central brick spine, the interior balances open social spaces with private family areas, while natural materials such as oak, brick, and spruce reinforce a warm and timeless character. Combined with renewable energy systems and thoughtful spatial planning, the project demonstrates how contemporary architecture can coexist harmoniously with its environment.
