But even when her conviction was secured, we all witnessed her continual efforts to influence the outcome of every aspect of her case. Despite the fact that Jodi had said on previous occasions that she would "beg" for the death penalty, she again changed her story and was now pleading for a lesser sentence. But Jodi's need to manipulate and control the outcome of her case didn't end when she was finally sentenced to life without the possibility of parole, in fact, she is still actively trying to game the system and someday walk free. It might sound like an impossibly improbable outcome, but most people would be surprised to learn that Jodi Arias won an important first step in her plot for leave the confines of her imprisonment.
