GIBB RIVER ROAD episode 2

If there's one road every outback traveller should not miss it's this one....the iconic 660km long Gibb River Rd in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. It's rough, it's remote and it has some of the most incredible gorges and waterfalls you will find anywhere. What also makes this natural wonder amazing is its a challenge, an adventure to get there, and its a really rewarding feeling once you cool off in one of the many waterholes. We visited as many as possible in our time frame which you can see in all our episodes. There probably isn't enough words to describe this place and give it justice, you really just need to get there and experience it for yourself. In this second episode we arrive at the Pentacost River, a well known waterway full of Barramundi and Crocodiles. This place demands more than one night stopover so we spend two and utilise the boat to make the most of the fishing adventure. Once mobile again we start the "true GRR" section, rough and tumble no bitumen here and it doesn't take long for it to cause damage as we drive through the unbelievable scenic Cockburn Ranges and cross the Durack River., plus more........enjoy! #onthepiss4x4
