To Alicante we traveled from Benidorm on the eve of the New Year, specifically on December 30th. We strolled through the city, admired the largest nativity scene listed in the Guinness Book of Records, showed the children the "mushroom street," enjoyed the warm weather, marveled at the magnificent view and sunset from the Santa Barbara Fortress, and simply had a wonderful day in Alicante.
