Marty Robbins Sings 'I Told The Brook.'

From a very hot period in Marty's career (1962) comes this ballad which was coupled with 'Sometimes I'm Tempted.' The record sold well; 'I Told The Brook' reached the 81 spot while 'Tempted' made 109. It was a two sided hit and although you may think that the chart placings aren't that great, you must take into account the size of the US population. To my knowledge this song has never appeared on any Columbia or Bear Family CD. It does appear on Marty's 'No Signs Of Loneliness Here', but is erroneously listed as 'Begging To You.'! If my memory serves me correctly, the song was a hit in Australia for Billy Thorpe And The Aztecs.
