The EMOTIONAL President John Dramani Mahama, Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, and First Lady Lordina Mahama arrived for the Dr Omane Boamah Memorial Service, which was held to honour the eight gallant Ghanaian men who tragically died in the helicopter crash. Dr Omane Boamah and five other victims of the helicopter crash were laid to rest over the weekend in a state funeral at the Military Cemetery. At the Thanksgiving service held at Christ The King Catholic Parish in Cantonment, the mother of Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala broke down when she took the microphone to express her gratitude to President Mahama for the honorary title bestowed upon her son at the service.
