In May 2022, a Russian missile hit a residential building in Zatoka, Odessa region. Six-year-old Sasha was seriously injured, lost her leg, but did not lose the most important thing — her dream. Together with her mother Maria, she openly talks about that day, the difficult treatment, the amputation, the first steps on the prosthesis and the path to returning to big sports. How did the child survive the most difficult test? What helped her not to lose faith in herself? Why was gymnastics the first question after the operation? How does Oleksandra live today and what does she dream about the most? This is a story not only about loss. Recently, the girl received an apartment in Kyiv from Rinat Akhmetov. Also, thanks to the support of the founder of the Foundation and the President of FC Shakhtar, Sasha will go on a world tour "Dance of Freedom" across five continents this summer to show the world her "dance of freedom". The project is dedicated to the upcoming 35th anniversary of Ukraine's Independence. The story of Alexandra Pascal has also become part of the archive of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation's "Voices of Peace" Museum.
