Painting a super realistic dog - Seal merle Border Collie timelapse

In this video I am painting Styx, a seal merle border collie. His colouration is not so common but was very interesting and enjoyable to paint. My style is very realistic and I use acrylics on fabriano artistico HP 300lb and this painting is A3 size but a bit squared off to fit him in better. A3 is approx 16x12.
