I Went to China to Build a Fashion Brand
I spent five days in Guangzhou, China, learning how clothes are made! Paige and I went through the process of designing, sourcing, sampling, and manufacturing clothing in China. Learning how clothes are designed, made, and ordered, and diving deeper into the supply chain, was so much fun! I am incredibly grateful that my business allows me to learn from others and gives me the freedom to go on trips like this. In this episode you’ll see: • How a fashion brand goes from idea to product • Designing, sourcing, and sampling garments • What happens before you place a production order • Behind-the-scenes footage from Guangzhou Paige is one of my best friends from school, so it was such a pleasure to join her on this trip and support her as she builds her brand. Do you have an e-commerce brand? Are you thinking about launching one? What products do you sell, and who do you sell them to? Let me know in the comments. Want help building your business?
