(If I'm being very honest, there are at least a few gripes that I have regarding 3.7 which makes me feel...conflicted. I definitely feel like the Chrysos Heirs didn't get a proper, honorable ending/send-off that have done their characters justice, so this song is kind of like my way to cope lol which is why at times it almost feels like I'm writing as if in mourning(?) I'm picturing these long years of battle-hardened bodies and souls finally can be laid to rest kinda thing, so the first person POVs rotate from here and there "lay me down gently" "return my ring back home" as if the Chrysos Heirs heroic souls are asking us to honour their last wish. I wanted to include at least one or two sentences per Chrysos Heir but wasn't able to due to paragraphing and trying to make everything rhyme lol so sorry... But even still, I feel like this is a piece that needs to be written, this is my way of saying thank you to Amphoreus, for this whole year of companionship, through this story I've been inspired and moved to tears so many many times, written so many fics and songs and sang about them and connected with so many of you in ways I never thought possible. Despite the flaws, I'm still happy that Amphoreus happened; I was so lucky to be a part of this and I will always choose to go back to this cherished story again, just like the Trailblazer. If this is how the story must end with bittersweet regrets...I'll just pen the final stroke, and leave a hopeful 'see you tomorrow!' . . . . . . This will likely be the last song that I made dedicated to the Amphoreus cast!
